Enter the freighter — navigate northwest and collect 1 part behind the short railing at the end, then pick up the H-shaped part on the ground nearby — descend to the lower level — hit each of the 3 blue switches twice to raise beams and access the remaining parts hidden behind and around them — grab the Robe of Wind from the chest at the northwest end of the lower level — exit Steel Beach and return all 8 parts to Momo in the engine room at the dock
Momo fixes the boat and it sails back to Rhapala — Beyd gives full use of the boat and Zig eagerly volunteers as captain — talk to Zig on the bridge — he will ask you to speak with all your party members first, so do that, then talk to Zig again to depart — head north toward the outer sea (the waves are too rough and force you back) — talk to Zig (he mentions the Legendary Mariner and suggests the mayor of Parch knows more) — navigate to Parch

The crossing is underway — an alarm sounds — choose three party members and investigate the bow — collect Ivory Dice from a room along the path — find the Soul Gem chest further down toward the outer deck — reach the bow and back up to mid-ship as far as possible (the ship's turrets assist if you're far enough back) — fight the Ammonites

Enter the Colony — climb the three main stair sets and go through the doorway at the end — collect the Key from the satchel on top of the portal — exit and head left down the stairs — jump off the ledge to the left and check the northwest corner for the Failure gene (new Dragon Gene)
Descend the stairs right and go through the doorway for a Deep Diver — backtrack up and take the path left of the stairs — follow it southeast then northeast through the passageway — climb the stairs right to find the Wisdom Fruit chest at the end — backtrack a few steps to the ledge on the side of the path and jump off to fall through the window into the room below — have Momo insert the Key and solve the mirror puzzle to activate the portal (south mirror: 2 times, east mirror: 2 times, west mirror: 3 times — fire the laser) — exit and return to the portal room — step on the portal to teleport out

Go up the stairs to the left — head right and collect Lacquer Shield from the chest at the end — go back and ascend the next stair set — exit southeast through the passageway to collect Barbarossa from the outdoor chest — go back inside and head northwest through the doorway — take the path left, down two small stair sets, then up one to reach the Skill Ink chest — exit left — take the outside path right through the next door — head northwest and go up the stairs to the right — ascend the next set of stairs — exit through the doorway on the right — walk left and climb the ladder to reach the antenna — turn the panel in the direction of least static noise to fix it — return all the way back to the portal room

Conversations proceed: elder speaks with Ryu, then Garr, then Nina — when the elder asks to speak with Ryu again, leave and swap to a stronger party first — return and tell the elder you are ready — Ryu's dragon powers are suppressed by the room's magic barriers — fight the Elder
Boss: ELDER (HP 5,000, recommended lv 30) — no dragon transformations allowed in this fight — uses Inferno, Myollnir, Sirocco, and Double Blow (very high attack power) — open with Ryu casting Shield 3-4 times and Barrier on everyone — Rei casts Speed on anyone without an extra turn — Momo casts Might or War Shout — Rei uses Weretiger and becomes the primary damage dealer (700-1,000 per hit with full buffs) — Momo and Ryu focus on healing and attacking with their best skills when possible
After the battle — collect the Infinity gene (new Dragon Gene) from the elder's remains — you now have all 18 dragon genes — return outside
Optional: return to the area above the portal room and have Ryu examine the blank wall frame — Ladon appears as a master (final master in the game, teaches Aura — one of the strongest attacks available)
Speak with Griol outside (Myria is to the north across the desert) — he assigns Horis as your guide — speak with Horis and tell him you are ready — exit to the world map and head north to the Factory

Inside the Factory — up the stairs right for Ammonia in the satchel — back down and up the hallway through the doorway — down the hidden north ladder for Rockbreaker from the chest — exit and take the dirt path left: left at the junction, have Momo blast the weak wall section for Aries Spear — back to junction right, up the north stairs, up the NW stairs, exit SE for Fish-head from chest — go back inside and down the previous stair set — through the door near the blue switch (do not hit that switch yet)
Livewire area — hit the far left switch then quickly hit the second switch — dash straight up across the two lowered platforms to the stairs — down the small stair set and through the door on the left — head NE up the hall and right at the corner — first doorway on the left leads to a narrow path with a Sage's Frock chest — exit and continue to the next doorway at the bend
Next area — climb the ladder left and head north — descend the stairs left and hit the blue switch to disable the livewire — collect Homing Bomb from the chest above — head back up the stairs and south, then down the ladder — go right, hit the blue switch by the door, then the blue switch right of the stairs to raise a platform — climb the ramp and stairs to the panel and activate the workbot program — use the workbot to hit all 3 switches below (workbot mirrors your movement; press Triangle when facing a switch — use the two cubic objects to help maneuver it)
Back down the stairs and climb the SW ladder — head northwest past the left stairs and go right at the junction — ignore the door at the corner and continue to the chest at the path end for the Hourglass — then go back and through that corner door — ascend the long staircase — slash the panel left of the door with Ryu's sword to open it — exit the Factory — head north on the world map to set up base camp — Chapter 10 begins
At base camp — listen to Horis's full briefing about the Desert of Death — talk to him again and read all the help topics carefully, especially the star navigation guide — ignore the directions Horis writes down for you (they are wrong) — fill your canteen at the big vase near the save book (16 helpings) — rest and save — head out into the desert
Desert navigation shortcut: from the start, face between the true north star and the fake north star (1 turn right from north) and walk in that direction until you reach the Oasis — drink water when prompted (~twice per night, take a few steps then use one helping) — make camp at daybreak and break camp at nightfall — after every random battle, re-check the stars and re-orient before walking again (random battles can leave you facing the wrong direction) — if lost and out of water, make camp and talk to the rakda to return to base camp
Navigate the desert using the stars — traditional route: follow the north star two nights until the evening star is directly west, then head east until the evening star disappears (~2.5 nights), then north for ~3 nights — or use the shortcut (see note above) — put desirable party members in before the final nights — approach the hill that begins to move and fight the Manmo boss

After the battle — camp cutscene: Nina collapses with heat stroke — exit the tent and talk to Rei — talk to the rakda, then slash it with Ryu's sword to obtain Radka Meat — return to the tent, talk to Rei, then go back inside and give Nina the meat — she recovers enough to continue — head to the Oasis
Arrive at the Oasis — rest while the village chief tells you about Caer Xhan to the north — once Nina recovers, explore the village and collect 800z — stock up at the item shop if needed — exit north through the middle of town up the hill — Chapter 11 begins
Put Garr in the party — enter the [?] spot to the right of Caer Xhan — inside, have Garr push the wooden crate to the right (it shatters, revealing two ladders) — access the portal here (also grab the Radiance gene if not already collected) — portals are now usable for world travel — return to world map and enter Caer Xhan
Stock up thoroughly in Caer Xhan (best shop in the game: Seeking Sword 20,000z, Gunginir 22,000z, Force Armor 22,000z) — collect Protein: from the shop area go left, down the small stair set, south down the next stairs, SE into the small building — head NE up the street and enter the building on the left at the street's end to find a Honey-like robot on the ground — continue NW up the hall into the next room, up the hallway, and climb the stairs — go left staying as far from the checkered area as possible — go down the stairs at the left end and through the door — hit the blue switch to turn off the lights — exit and climb back up the stairs — with the lights off the laser beams guarding the checkered area are now visible — navigate across to the Moon Tears chest in the middle
Climb the large staircase at the right end of the room — carefully cross the checkered area to the right — exit through the doorway on the left — head north to the door inside and examine the large computer terminal — deactivate the emergency lockout mode and choose "OK" for Platform 1 — exit, walk SW to the ledge and jump off, go left to the street — NW up the street and into the building at the end — examine the small terminal to open the gate — up the stairs to the left and through the gate, follow the purple tile and exit right — climb the outdoor stairs and board the platform to ride it to Myria Station — at the station head up to the main entrance (locked) — go right and down the stairs at the end of the path into the Worker's Area
Head SE to the junction near the elevator shaft — go right then down to the passageway and collect Gas Shells from the chest — back to the elevator shaft, take the path to the right of the lift around and northwest to the outdoor doorway — walk to the far end and check the narrow path on the left for a Life Shard — go back inside, climb the stairs left of the elevator shaft, hit the blue switch near the elevator — go back down and ride the elevator to the Arrival Platform — collect Wisdom Fruit from the chest — ride the elevator down to the Maintenance Deck — head up the outside path and ride the elevator at the end up to the Worker's Area — through the door on the left, through the small room — head right and follow the hallway around to the stair set — climb up and examine both panels to release the main entrance and laser locks
Back down the stairs and head left — follow the hall all the way around and go through the now-unlocked door on the right (the one just before the next stair set) — collect 800z, Hourglass, and Napalm from the cabinets and lockers — rest and save here — exit to the hall — up the stairs at the end — collect 400z from this small room — exit through the doorway into Myria Station's main room
Explore the main room — main entrance is now unlocked to the SE — collect the Life Shard from the cabinets at the east end — follow the gold path to the upper level and go through the door at the end to reach the Laboratory
Ride the conveyor belt NW to the other end — take the narrow path left of the belts down to collect 10,000z — exit through the NW corner door — pass through the healing room and up the hall — go through the northernmost door at the end of the hall and collect the Holy Robe — exit back into the hall and leave through the doorway on the left — continue up the gold path and through the door at the very end — examine the panel in this room to turn off the sleeping gas in the adjacent room — collect the Swallow Eye from the cabinet
Follow the gold path back down — enter the first room on the right — collect Ammonia at the left end — adjust the shock floor panels to clear a path: first panel 2 clicks left, second panel 2 clicks right — exit and continue down the gold path — go inside the next room on the right and adjust the panel 1 click left — climb the small stair set right and walk carefully across the now-safe shock floor — ride the lift on the other side down
Head right and right again at the junction — take the path down through the passageway at the end and check around for the Skill Ink chest — return to the junction, go left and through the doorway at the end — go left then NW, through the next door on the right and up the hall to the dead end — collect Ivory Dice — backtrack down the hall and go through the next door — ride the lift up — collect the Slicer from the chest — enter the next room and fight the Chimera
Boss: CHIMERA (HP 7,500, recommended lv 35) — Paralyzer causes paralysis — if all three party members are paralyzed it is game over, so keep Rei available to cure — also uses Inferno and Blizzard — open with Ryu casting Shield, Rei casting Speed, Momo casting Might or War Shout — transform Ryu to Kaiser (Infinity+Trance+Radiance) and use Shadowwalk or Triple Blow (if low on AP, use Force+Gross genes and Aura instead) — keep Rei in human form until paralysis is dealt with — Momo heals and casts Myollnir when possible
After Chimera — pick up the Level-B Card Key it was guarding — ride the lift the Chimera was sitting on down — exit and collect HE Shells from the chest — continue right into the next area — have Rei pick the lock on the door — collect Giant Shield, Dragon Shield, and Dragon Helm from the three chests — return to the main room — go back to the Worker's Area and use the Level-B Card Key to unlock that door — collect Demonsbane from the chest — make sure Rei and Momo are in your party — return to the main room — follow the green path to the upper level — go through the door at the end to reach the path to Eden — Chapter 12 begins
Ride the escalator up — exit through the door on the left — pass through the healing room — walk right to find a door blocked by harmful plants — have Momo equip HE Shells and shoot down the plants to access the door — go through (make sure Rei is also in the party)
Head NW at the junction for the Protein chest — return to the junction and head NE — around the corner onto the grassy area — walk up and left to the hill incline and go down for the Magic Shard chest — head back up the grassy area and climb over the hill on the left — walk SE back onto the path — follow it up and around to the locked door — have Rei pick the lock — collect Ginseng and Wisdom Fruit from the cabinets inside (do not step on the plants in this room or you will take damage) — exit through the doorway at the other end
Head left and check behind the trees along this stretch for the Silver Tiara chest — continue left over the small knoll to the door in the NW corner — go through and collect the Dragon Spear from the chest — exit the way you came — walk back down to the grassy area and climb the stairs — take the path right and go through the door at the end — head up the hallway and ride the lift at the end up to Eden
Head south from the lift to reach the Force Armor chest — return to the lift and head north for the Soul Gem chest — go left and cross the bridge over the stream — cutscene: the Brood warrior is revealed to be Teepo — flashbacks play — Teepo asks Ryu to give up his powers — Ryu refuses and is sent into a deep dream
Ryu is alone in the dream maze — random battles are solo Ryu only — listen closely to all party member conversations
Head NW to the next lit section to find Nina — listen to Nina and examine the dragon statue (it says go back) — go back to find Rei — hear what Rei has to say — inspect the dragon statue to heal and save
Continue NW to the dragon statue with two plaques — examine the left plaque — try to get the chest on the left (you fall through the floor) — there is a separate statue down here in this lower room — inspect it and say you really want what's in the box — walk left and pick up the Shaman's Ring — step into the swirling shaft of light to return near the save point — head NW back to the two-plaque dragon statue area — examine the statue again — it says to pray — stand completely still without moving until it illuminates the path ahead
From the next lit patch head NE to another part of the path — walk SE to reach the Gems chest — return to the main path and head SW to the Hourglass chest — continue up the main path to find Momo — listen to her — walk into the swirling shaft of light to be transported to the portal area
Portal maze — from the first junction head left — right at the next junction — left at the one after — follow the path down to the yellow portal — walk NE to find Garr and talk to him — continue up and step onto the purple portal to the left — right at the next junction, NW at the one after — through the green portal to find Peco — continue up the path and through the blue portal — walk through the fake Ryu image — find Teepo — fight the Arwan boss
Boss: ARWAN (HP 2,400, solo Ryu, recommended lv 38) — uses Blizzard, Chill (frost damage), and Sleep — equip the Dream Ring — use the most powerful holy property attacks you have (Aura in Warrior form deals over 2,000 but prefer any less AP-costly holy attacks if available) — if you have a Holy Avenger, equip it and use Shadowwalk to deal heavy damage without dragon form and save AP — conserve as much AP as possible, you will need it for the fight immediately after
After Arwan — Ryu wakes and Teepo confronts the party — choose three party members and a formation carefully — fight Dragon Lord
Boss: DRAGON LORD / TEEPO (HP 12,500, recommended lv 38) — equip Balance Rings on all party members for the early turns before Ryu transforms (Howling causes mass confusion — note that Kaiser form automatically grants confusion immunity once Ryu transforms) — also uses Inferno, Blizzard, Myollnir, and Triple Blow — have Rei use Pilfer first to steal Teepo's Dragon Blade, then equip it on Ryu — Ryu uses Accession immediately after (Kaiser form Infinity+Trance+Radiance is ideal; low AP fallback: Force+Gross genes) — Rei casts Speed on everyone then uses Weretiger — Momo casts Protect, Shield, Barrier, Might, and War Shout throughout and heals as needed — Focus twice before Shadowwalk in Kaiser can deal over 5,000 in one hit — long fight, keep at it
After Dragon Lord — collect Card Key A from Teepo's remains — ride the lift back down — return to the main room — go back to the Worker's Area and use Card Key A on the Level-A door — collect Light Bangle inside — return to the main room — unlock the door at the left end of the main room with Card Key A — go through — Chapter 13 begins
⚠ The random battle enemies in this area are extremely tough — make sure your characters are at least in the high 30s before pushing forward
Head up the hallway — go right at the first junction — NW at the next junction — left at the fork — follow the path down and through the door at the end to reach the Reminiscent Battle Rooms
Navigate the maze — no random battles inside — white lights above doors = rooms already visited, red lights = unvisited — rooms contain rematches of old bosses (3 Nues, 2 Huge Slugs, 2 Mikbas, Dodo, Angler, 2 Ammonites, Manmo, 5 Rockies, Gaist, 3 Stallions) — collect Swallow Eye, Moon Tears, and Hourglass from chests found throughout the maze — to reach the rest and save rooms quickly, head left from the entrance (only requires fighting 5 Rockies and 3 Stallions first)
At the save room — go through the door to the right of the save book to reach the rest room — rest up — collect Cupid's Lyre from the chest — return and save — take care of any remaining unfinished business now (this is the last opportunity for side quests and leveling up) — descend the ladder in the southern corner of the save room
Follow Honey down the hall — she opens the huge gate blocking your path (Honey is revealed to be a Navigator robot) — continue up the hall and ride the lift down to the core — walk through the lit hallway (equip Holy Mantle and walk rather than dash to reduce encounters — this is the final area with random battles) — follow the path all the way around listening to the messages — ride the small lift at the end up to the centermost platform — Myria appears before you
Listen carefully to Myria — talk to all your friends — talk to Myria again — choose to keep your powers to see the true ending (choosing to give up your powers ends the game without it) — choose three party members and a formation carefully — fight Myria
After the ending credits, do not turn the game off — wait for the song to finish and press Start to save your cleared game data
Final Boss: MYRIA (HP 20,000, recommended lv 40) — large spell arsenal including Inferno, Blizzard, Myollnir, Sirocco, Restore, and Death (Death can instantly KO a party member) — Venom hits all party members with blindness, poison, and confusion — Evil Eye causes paralysis — Holocaust deals ~150 damage to all (used near the end of the fight) — Sanctuary can negate assist spells but she uses it rarely — transform Ryu to Kaiser (Infinity+Trance+Radiance) immediately (Shadowwalk deals 1,500-2,000 per hit) — keep Wisdom Fruits on Momo to maintain Ryu's Kaiser AP — Rei and Momo open with Speed, Protect, Shield, Might, War Shout — once buffs are up, Rei uses his strongest attack skills then Weretiger — Momo keeps everyone's HP near maximum throughout — when in a desperate situation use Moon Tears or Hourglasses — don't hold anything back, use Bonebreak, Celerity, and your most powerful skills — this is what you saved all those items for
